Net Zero commitment
We are committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2030.
We are committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2030, to build the resilient, thriving, sustainable communities of tomorrow, by taking action across our business in:
- Sustainable plants
- Sustainable products
- Sustainable practices
We are taking bigger and bolder actions in all our manufacturing plants and distribution centres across the world to become carbon neutral. Our appliances today use less water, have a smaller carbon footprint and use recycled materials. We have made these investments because we truly believe there is no place for waste, at home, work or anywhere on our planet.
In the UK we are leading by example. All our manufacturing sites across the world have achieved gold or platinum levels for zero waste to landfill including our Yate manufacturing site in Bristol and our Peterborough headquarters. None of the waste we generate ends up in landfill, and all of our sites are run on renewable energy. We have also begun a journey to switch our delivery and engineer vehicles to electric power and already more than half of our company vehicles are electric. We also use biofuel for our on-site vehicles, and to help both our customers and the planet, we remove and recycle packaging free of charge when we deliver a new product to our customers’ homes.
