Supporting a Circular Economy
Here at Whirlpool, we are committed to supporting a circular economy
We’ve been supporting the circular economy for many years, which is why we’ll provide you with free parts for the first 10 years of your appliance, provided they are fitted by our highly qualified engineers. All you need to do is register them at www.registermyappliance.org.uk
We stock more than 6.6 million spare parts for all our products in our National Parts Centre at our UK headquarters in Peterborough so if your appliance needs some attention then you can choose to either have it repaired by one of our own engineers, purchase spare parts or consider a replacement directly from us at whirlpool.co.uk
When we deliver a new appliance to your home we’ll remove and recycle its packaging free of charge and also offer to remove the old machine for a small charge. We’ll then either fully recycle the old appliance or if it can be refurbished we’ll do that in our reworks facility also in Peterborough so someone else can benefit from it. In the last 10 years we have refurbished more than half a million appliances giving them a second life. We have 3 outlet stores across the UK in Peterborough, Gateshead and Yate near Bristol, where the public can purchase the refurbished products or buy online at www.whirlpoolfactoryoutlet.co.uk
In 2022 at our recycling facility in Peterborough we processed more than 4,000 tonnes of waste that otherwise would have been sent to landfill.
All of these are part of our commitment to a more sustainable life at home.
